It must be borne in mind that in most types of contract , there always a clause to state that the contractor’s plant when brought on site will temporarily become the property of the client . In case the contractor breaches the contract , the client , under the terms and conditions of the contract , may have the right to sell these plant to recover its damages . Thus the removal of on-site plant will always have to seek permission from the client’s representative .
